Make Way for Fantasyland

Make Way for Fantasyland

To make way for the massive Fantasyland expansion/refurbishment at the Magic Kingdom, two popular features will be closing on April 11, 2010.

Ariel’s Grotto (a meet-n-greet with the famous mermaid) and Pooh’s Playful Spot (a Winnie the Pooh themed playground) will be closing permanently on Sunday.  In their place, guests will see construction walls from Ariel’s Grotto all the way to Toontown.

But don’t worry, Ariel will continue to meet and greet guests at the Adventureland Veranda, and Pooh’s Tree will be moved to the queue for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh attraction.
